The leadership team has observed that plagiarism is an issue inside of our community.

Plagiarism, as defined by Google, is defined as “the practice of taking someone else’s work or ideas and ing them off as one’s own”.

As per our [Guidelines], any content that you post without proper credit and you do not own the rights to is considered plagiarism, even if you did not explicitly claim it as your own.

There is no excuse for plagiarism. Plagiarism is strictly forbidden in our community.

If you get caught posting plagiarized content, you will be facing severe consequences.

Always properly credit.

If you're not sure how to do so, refer to this post about properly crediting content that does not belong to you.

When crediting content, make it clearly visible to the reader. Trying to hide the sources is extremely frowned upon.

Please note that even if you properly credit all content, your post will not be featured. When the leadership team features posts, it’s to give them recognition for their time and effort spent on their post and images. Using someone else’s content does not take any time or effort.

Plagiarism has ALWAYS been against our [Guidelines] and Amino’s of Service. It is also illegal, and considered a crime.
