‖     I’m here to tell you, silly. First let’s talk   ‖

‖        about canvases and why they are         ‖

‖           interesting. Canvases are a new         ‖

‖     beginning. Something fresh in which      ‖

‖   you can do something never before done.‖

‖ Something only you can create. Canvases ‖

‖    are something you can put to use and      ‖

‖     really let your potential thrive. A canvas ‖

‖                            is power.                              ‖

For this challenge, your task is simple: write. Take a blank idea-something fresh, new, exciting, and a bit scary- and turn it into a masterpiece.

“But Fae, masterpieces take time.”

To that I say this:

A masterpiece is never finished. Begin your masterpiece on this blank slate and take the leap into potential. Use this challenge as a starting point in which you grow, evolve, and become a better version of the writer you are.

Now let’s talk logistics! Of course, since this is a challenge, there are specific things you need to adhere to, right? Here are your guidelines:

‖1. You must tag your entry with the tag       ‖

‖#BlankCanvas to be considered!                ‖

‖2. Your piece can be any kind of writing-    ‖

‖poem, short story, etc- and any genre-       ‖

‖horror, romance, etc- as long as it is fresh. ‖

‖and embodies the theme of the challenge. ‖

‖YOU CAN NOT USE AN OLD WRITING.       ‖

‖3. Your entry must be submitted before      ‖

‖10/29/2018 at 12:00 pm EST. Any entries    ‖

‖ after will not be considered.                        ‖

Should your piece be chosen as a winner, you will have the following prizes:

Three day feature on your piece
