Why? Great question. Haha. Because of school, summertime is when I have time to finally do some things that I’d been putting off throughout the school year. I go on road trips, I hang out with my friends more, I tackle chores and errands I’d been ignoring for far too long, and more. And what group has an all season, all situation discography? DAY6 for sure for sure.

Their Us: Youth Part 2 album is one that I especially love this time of year. “Days Gone By” is great while you’re cleaning the house or doing home chores; it makes all the worst jobs feel lighter somehow. “121U” is a top notch road trip song; it always makes me want to throw my sunroof open and roll the windows down, but I live in Texas so those are things we simply do not do in the summer. Haha. “So Cool” is a great song to have on a pool party playlist; there’s always someone who’s like, “Hey what song is this? It’s dope!” Haha. And of course, “Beautiful Feeling” matches the feeling of finally being out for the summer!
