I’ve been trying to get better with my eating habits. I realize as I’m getting older, gut health really is a thing to be mindful about. I have seen a few videos on YouTube that show eating stewed apples is great for your digestion.

Eating stewed apples helps cleanse our digestive system, they are also easier to digest than eating raw apples. Pectin is released during the cooking process. It is a firm fiber that s our gut health. It can also boost our immunity and our regualirty. I was advised I was pre-diiabetic a few years ago, so I like that this also helps regulate blood sugar level and reduce

appetite.

I’ve also added some ginger slices and cinnamon sticks, not only do they taste well, but they also help reduce inflammation as well as boost immunity. When consumed together, it also has antioxidants to help overall well-being. Combine some cloves that have antibacterial and antifungal properties, you’ve made a delicious defense against illness. I also added some raisins and natural sweetener.

I’ve had it everyday for about 5 days with breakfast in the morning. It is also a lovely dessert. I warm it up in the microwave so it’s warm. If you’re a fan of oatmeal it’s a great topper.

I wanted to wait a while before posting to be sure it was good enough for me. I hope I was able to help out or share some fun food trivia. Stay tuned, I’ve made an elixir, that is working tremendously!
