A very easy and very sweet treat that I enjoy making probably shouldn’t even count as a “baking recipe” since it’s mostly pre-bought, haha! BUT, this can be made at home using a homemade cake recipe. I treat myself by making things easier!

Ingredients:

1. Box of Vanilla Cake Mix

2. Two Cans of Peaches

3. Butter, 8oz

4. Vanilla Ice Cream

Place the cake mix in a baking dish along with the canned peaches, syrup and all. Mix a little bit and then melt the butter. Pour the butter on top and mix a bit more. Put in the oven at 350 degrees, F for about a half hour, to an hour. Just check to make sure the cake looks somewhat done. It will be mushy, that’s part of the charm. Put a bit into a bowl and place a scoop of ice cream on top while it’s still warm. Enjoy!

Tips: This can be used with various fruits. I’ve seen people use apple pie filling, cherry filling, or peach pie filling. I’ve seen people use fresh fruit as well as their own homemade cake mix! I’ve also seen people add brown sugar into the mix… but honestly, it’s extremely sweet as it is for me.
