This week has been stressful and hectic and I haven't had much time to craft. We had a family emergency and I had some personal things, so I hadn't made anything all week and didn't even put up a video this week.
I was very happy to see this weekend's challenge because I enjoy a lot of Tim Burton's movies and it inspired me to work on something new! It got my mind off of everything and I took a break to make these ornaments.
These are made with a mix of mini perler and artkal beads, using the circle pegboard I got from artkal! Jack is a lot smaller than Sally because I was experimenting with size and shape and freehanded these instead of making a pattern ahead of time. What do you think of them?
My mom loved these (she loves the movie) so I'm going to redo Jack in the larger size and give them to her for our tree this year. I'll probably make a Zero too, to complete the set!
Overall I really enjoyed making this for the #timburtoncrafts challenge and I'm glad it helped me get out of the rut I was in. Great job on this idea, thanks as always to the crafty team!
Ps: For those of you that are waiting for my giveaway post, I promise to make the post this week, as long as there are no other emergencies. I spent a lot of hours at the hospital this week and have been trying to finish coursework so I didn't have time to get the giveaway together. It should go up next week if all goes according to plan.
