My bby is finally done! Look at how cute she is 🤧
I absolutely adore the concept of dragonfruit themed dragons, I think the colours are pretty and there’s something so fun about the idea itself that I had to attempt my own version! I think using the Wooble pattern really helped because not only did I already use the pattern and had an idea of how to go about it, but I could also use Kaida as a reference as I was working.
For this little guy I used a mix of yarn I got from the dollar store and Loops & Threads acrylic yarn as well as the spare eyes from Kaida’s kit and another Wooble kit I have. While I think the Wooble yarn is easier to crochet with because you aren’t worrying about the hook splitting the yarn, I prefer the texture of acrylic yarn. I think it also makes for a cleaner look, though there’s a chance that i accidentally left the wrong side out when I made Kaida  . The acrylic yarn definitely keeps its shape a little easier, I can sort of pose the wings and the spikes along the back can stay upright better which is fun.
I love both versions of this little dragon and there may be a chance that I attempt to make more in the future with other colour combinations!

How adorable!!!
It's so cuute 🥺 I love the combination of green and pink. How much did it take to complete?
Thank you! In of price, it only cost me like $9 since I had to get the pink and green yarn, everything else I had on hand. In of how long it took to make, maybe two or three days? I don’t know the exact number but my hand was hurting & taking more breaks so it took a bit longer than when I made the original Wooble.

I can totally relate to the hand hurting part  I became more resistant in time, but from time to time it's still a problem
It's so adorable! 🥺 :two_hearts:
I have to agree that color combinations are lovely
Thank you! I’m happy I got the bright green, I was debating on getting another green or using the ones I have which are a bit darker but this one I think fits a lot better :relieved:
