This is my latest project.
I have been working on this since last year 🤦♀
It is a Medicine Bag for my fiancee.
He is of Cherokee heritage and needed a new one.
So after looking high and low for the right material, leather, I settled on Elk hide.
Everything you see is done by hand, and was not an easy task.
The Moon's are a special symbol to him and that is what he wanted in the center.
So I used black DMC embroidery floss and embrordered the Moon's on the center piece.
Now I just have to attach the center piece of leather to the rest of the bag.
I'll most likely use sinew to see the leather circle on the leather bag.
