to be honest I actually like the original design more in comparison to the latest one. The latest one while it is improved in quality, it doesn't look all that scary to me. The latest one looks like it takes more inspiration to Classic Sonic (the shorter one) while the old design looks more like current day Sonic which was probably what Sonic.EXE was based off of. I do like the latest design though, but I just like the older design better because it looks scarier. Anyway feel free to share which design you like more and I hope you all have a nice day! :heart:

If you look at the shoes, he was always based off of classic sonic, but I personally prefer current, the old one just gave off a Goofy vibe.
Though the tongue is still present I believe, according to this unused sprite, just wanted to say this last thing
I've definitely grown more used to the current one, but I liked the feel of the old one a lot better. There was something uncanny about his appearance, Sonic yet not. The neck, his weird purple tongues, even his nose is bleeding.
Current stays true to the Classic Sonic appearance, and it's better done, but that old one did things for me man.
