300 Days On KDA!

Hello my babies!

I honestly wasn't going to make this blog, I was going to wait until my year mark but what the heck! Why not? Today marks 300 days in this wonderful community! Wow how time has flown by! I honestly can't believe I've been here so long, and still fully engaged in this app! There isn't a day that goes by that I don't check in and indulge in the world of KDA.

You're probably wondering why this blog isn't filled with my queen PSH? If you missed my announcement yesterday, read it here, it'll tell you why!

Anyways, let's take a ride back 300 days! I'll give you a quick overview on my journey here on KDA! Hang on tight, and let's get moving!

August 21st, 2016

That was the day I scavenged the App Store and discovered K-Drama Amino! I was actually looking for more streaming apps, because at the time I only knew about DramaFever. I came across the stand alone KDA app, read the description and thought this might be pretty cool.

I didn't think a social media forum pertaining to K-Dramas even existed! Boy, I didn't know what I was getting myself into! I honestly thought this would be something I'd check out, but eventually delete because I didn't think it would be as big and interactive as it really was. At the time I ed, a lot of the "big name" bloggers weren't around yet, or they were just beginning to get their feet wet.

Me being the illiterate human being that I am when it comes to anything that goes hand and hand with technology, I was a lost cause on day one. I didn't know how to navigate the app, it was like I was staring in the eyes of an alien species. I don't know how, but I ended up in a public chat where I met my first friend Olivia.

She became my teacher, teaching me the ways of KDA! I had no idea how to write a blog, or even how to post one! My age is showing, but she walked me through it and I produced this piece of work here. Yeah, almost everything newbie to the amino world starts off with some crap like this, unless you've ventured over from another community unlike myself.

I honestly don't too much from that time period, I don't think I was on everyday like I am now, but I did stop in to chat with the only friend I had for months before becoming the social butterfly that I have grown to be! That was the start of (Dia)mond!

September 2nd, 2016

My first featured blog

I can't deny it, that was the happiest day of my KDA career! I believe it actually got broadcasted as well! The aesthetics were horrible, but this blog finally put me on the map! It wasn't a community rule at that time, but I just realized I plagiarized the hell out of the synopsis!

Even though I had been watching dramas for about three years before I ed the community, my watch list was still a bit scarce. BOF was one of those big dramas that everyone had at least seen once, and at the time I had seen it about five times so it was only right.

The concept behind it was a "where are they now," type of deal. As basic as it was, I'm proud of my first featured blog! I wouldn't take it back for the world!

Meeting Friends

After I finally stopped being an introvert and talking to only one member for months, I decided to venture out and try to make some new friends! I didn't know how this would work, because as many of you know, I'm a sassy pants. I thought my personality would more so push people away than reel them in.

I decided to go big or go home, and I reached out to my wonderful twin Soshi Fan! The rest is history! You all know that we're basically ed at the hip! She's like that big sister I never had, and I will cherish her forever.

That makes two friends, but my greed told me I needed more! I eventually ed Kouki and Nicole's group chats and now I feel like I have an entire app of friends I wouldn't mind kickin' it with outside of the cyber world! Sometimes I feel like I'm closer to many of you on KDA than I am with my friends in the outside world! I love you all so much!

Final Words

Thank you KDA for seeing the potential in me! I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and wouldn't trade this experience and walk of life with you all for anything in this world! I appreciate every last one of you in this community for all that you do, I promise it doesn't go unnoticed!
