December Wrap Up

Ｈｅｌｌｏ ＫＤＡ!

It's the end of 2018 and now it's the beginning of

a new year. I can't believe it's already 2019. Last

year went by so fast. But I'm excited for the new

year. There will be many new dramas. Towards

the end of last year, I was in a drama slump for

two months. I didn't have a lot of time to watch

dramas because I was busy with school and I just

didn't feel like watching them. But then last

November, I got out of my drama slump by

watching fan videos. It really helped. There was

one video of a Chinese drama, Meteor Garden, that

caught my eye. I heard it was really good on KDA.

I watched the first episode and it got me out of my

drama slump. It's the first time I've ever went

through a slump. Anyway, I began watching some

new dramas last year. I thought I would write a

wrap up since I've seen many write

them. In this blog, I'm going to share what I

finished and what I'm watching now.

Plot

Miki is a high school student. One day,

her parents tell her that they are going

to divorce and swap partners with the

Matsuuras, a couple they met on a trip

to Hawaii. Miki's parents also tell her

that the Matsuura couple have a son

named Yuu. They will all live together

in the same house. After that, the two

families begin to live together and Miki

becomes attracted to Yuu. He does

not talk much, but is kind.

I wanted to watch this movie after

reading a blog as well as watching a

fan MV of this movie on YouTube. It

looked really cute so I watched it. I

was interested in watching this movie

because of the plot. The main

character's parents decide to divorce

and swap partners with a couple

whom they met in Hawaii. The other

couple have a son and they move in

together and live in the same house. I

thought that was weird. I've never

heard of a family doing that. It's

different though.

I liked the characters. At first I didn't

like Miki that much. I thought she was

boring and didn't show emotion but

later on in the movie, I started to like

her more. I really liked Yuu though. I

thought he was cool from the

beginning and is really nice. My

favorite scene if his was when he

climbed out if the house and went to

Miki's window and drew a drawing of

him apologizing. It was so cute. :relaxed:

I enjoyed the movie. The pace was

pretty good. It wasn't slow at all which

I liked. The chemistry between the

leads was good. I liked their romance

and I was happy that they lived happily

ever after. I liked how their parents

allowed them to be together after a

misunderstanding was resolved. It

ended nicely, too.

Plot

she's the only female student in her

class, but soon enough, friendships

and love sprouts for Nao Yoshino.

I was watching this drama last year but

I unfortunately stopped. I went back to

it after a couple of days ago. I wanted

to watch this drama because there

were two actors I recognized. They

were in a movie together and I really

enjoyed it. It's one of my favorite

movies. I also wanted to watch this

drama after I watched a fan music

video. It looked very cute. And I saw

my favorite OTP.

I really enjoyed this drama. I really liked

how there was a different story in

each episode for one of the

characters. The main character

Yoshino would be there for the

character and help them out in

whatever dilemma they face. She

never thought of herself but others.

And so she became one

of my favorite characters. I also

enjoyed this drama because it was

mainly about friendship and life

lessons. You can learn a lot by

watching this drama. The only

negative thing I have to say about this

drama is I wish it was a little longer,

like maybe two more episodes at

least. But I was still satisfied with how

the drama ended.

I started watching this drama back in

December. I've only watched three

episodes but there are a few dramas

I've been watching the most, but I'll

definitely go back to it because I'm

enjoying it.

Even though I'm only watching three

episodes, I'm really enjoying it. I ship

Sun Gyeol and Oh Sol very much. They

have nice chemistry. I would like to

continue watching to see what

happens next.

Oh Sol is a relatable character. I can

definitely relate to her because she is

always job hunting and hopes to

the interview screening. It's the same

for me. I haven't gone job hunting for a

while because I thought I would take a

break. I go to interviews but I'm never

hired. It's upsetting. The struggle is

real. Oh Sol finally gets hired as a

cleaning fairy after competing in the

fitness test, and her being a former

track runner, she made it. I'm looking

forward to seeing what happens

between the two characters. I know

they'll fall in love though.

Plot

She remains defiant even after

Ze Lei always seems to show up to

lend her a helping hand. Eventually, the

four boys begin to acknowledge Shan

Cai's unyielding personality that is like

her namesake which is that of a weed

that can never be brought down. She

also begins to see the good in the

boys, which paves the way for

friendship and an eventual romance.

I heard about this drama when it came

out. It was pretty popular here but I

didn't watch it, because I don't like to

watch dramas that are very hyped. At

the time, I wasn't interested in it, but

that wasn't until I read a blog from a

new friend I made about the drama a

few months back. I had no idea it's

based on Boys Over Flowers. I'm a big

fan of this story too, so I wanted to

watch.

With the amount of episodes I've

watched so far, I'm really really

enjoying it. It's one of the two dramas I

always look forward to watching and I

always want more. This version by far

is my favorite. I haven't watched the

Japanese drama but I will get to it. I

love The chemistry between Dylan

Wang and Shen Yue. Their characters

are too cute when they're around each

other. I can definitely tell that Shan Cai

likes Dao Ming Si but hasn't said

anything yet. I read that she takes a

long time to realize she likes him. But

I'm okay with it. I love slow burn

relationships. One of the things I love

about this version is Dao Ming Si's hair

in. It's way better than Jun Pyo's hair in

the Korean drama. I couldn't stand

looking at it. In this version, his hair is

more stylish and a lot better. We also

see him with his hair down, which I find incredibly handsome. :heart_eyes: :heart_eyes:

Plot

revenge on Son Soo Jeong and Oh Se

Ho, he returns to the same high school

as a student. The environment at the

school has changed and Kang Bok Su

gets involved in unexpected cases.

This is one of the dramas I was looking

forward to very much when I read a

blog about it on KDA. I was interested

in watching it because one of my

favorite actors is Yoo Seung Ho. I've

watched four dramas of his so far.

He's such an amazing actor and he's

another actor that has great chemistry

with his female co-stars.

Another reason I was interested in

watching was because of the plot. A

main character who was expelled from

school because he committed an act

of violence, and it was done by his two

friends and returns to school to get

revenge. I wanted to watch to find out

why his friends did that to him

especially his first love, and how they

could do something like that.

So far I'm really enjoying it. I'm starting

to like Soo Jung again. In the

beginning I didn't like her because she

ruined Bok Su's life by telling the

school that he pushed Se Ho off the

roof even though she didn't witness it.

She just heard it from inside the hall.

He never did it. She never even asked

him whether or not he did it. She just

stuck to her word. I was hoping that

she would suffer a bit more after what

she did to him. She ruined his whole

life without knowing the whole story.

When she overheard what was

happening outside, she should've went

out and ask what is going on and

see what is really happening,

instead of just staying inside letting it

happen. She could've prevented it. I

understand that Se Ho still loves her

and forgave her, but she should've

suffered a bit more. You probably

think she suffered enough, but for me

it should've been a little longer.

That is the end of my blog. There are a few more dramas I wanna start watching. If I watch any new ones I'll add it to my drama diary that I'm currently writing. It probably won't be that many because I can never keep up. This is my first time writing a wrap up but I'll write them at the end of every month. Also, the cover was made by me.
