Hello Leader Amino!
The Leader Amino [Guidelines] have received an update. In this update, we changed the result of our sentence rule. Instead of us commenting on posts before disabling them, we will now just be disabling posts with a lack of sentences and giving a verbal warning for first time offenses. Aside from this, a few minor typos and layout adjustments were made.
Please be sure to read the [Guidelines], especially if you haven't yet. From now on this new system will be in place for our sentence rule. If you see any typos/mistakes made, please comment here to point them out. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, let me know!

I'm honestly not sure why this wasn't the case sooner. It just seems way easier to hide it straight away
Caring about your amino is cool and all but have you ever tried to chew 5 gum?
Stimulate your senses.
I believe a date stamp on the title of these guideline updates need to exist so that people don't dismiss this as an old update. Some of the articles previously featured appear to be put back on the top of the featured list to reappear again. This can cause confusion as people may believe that the new update is in fact from a year or two ago and ignore it due to an incorrect assumption, and then violate a rule introduced in an update and be blindsighted due to the lack of clarity on the date of the update.

We do refeature old posts, but we typically don't refeature guidelines updates. Anytime a Guidelines update is featured, then it's new.

You might be interested to do that anyways, because it is still possible...
God forbid someone has something to post that is only a sentence, even if it’s helpful. Shame on those awful rule breakers that are ruining this community with information :rage: . It’s really impacting people’s ability to use amino!

One sentence can’t start a worthwhile discussion but can enforce an entire psa

You purposely miss the point of all of this. It wasn’t someone writing one sentence that started this discussion. It was hundreds of one sentence posts that sparked this post because seeing them all the time got annoying. If it was just one post with one sentence one time, it wouldn’t be a problem because you could simply scroll past it. But after scrolling past quite a few of those, it gets annoying. Have a nice night, 0_________0
