Yesterday morning I finally decided to watch Village of the Damned for the first time after I had it for a while. I thought it would be a bit bad due to being old but then again I ed that I was a huge fan of Psycho so I swept away that worry and enjoyed the movie very much. It had a very creepy tone once the children started existing, the special effects don’t look bad for their time, and fun to watch the debate between the adults on what to do about the children. Definitely recommend it

For Hulu’s In the Earth, it reminds me why I’m hesitant in watching Hulu horror movies as there’s a 50/50 chance for them to be hit or miss. Not forgetting to mention that they’re full of flashing lights for no actual good reason other than to cause epilepsy and be hella annoying. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I haven’t really enjoyed the movie, I don’t have epilepsy but damn it’s hard to look at a movie for a good amount of time when flashing lights keep hurting/annoying your eyes. Plus it’s unclear on what the hell is going on with the plot with questions of “why can we leave”, “is any of this real” and “did the ending even do anything impactful”. So yeah in my opinion I wouldn’t recommend the movie especially if you have epilepsy.

So those were my day 1 and 2 movies for October. I hope you all are enjoying October so far and have a good day!
