Balancing school with hospital

Hello world and my lovely little pumpkins. Today you’ll be reading about the topic balancing school with hospital. Basically this blog is about balancing two or more huge task so that one won’t be forgotten or undone.

So, for those who don’t know I have been diagnosed with pneumonia since I was nine, I often talk about it on my amino. The hospital became one of the many places I spend my time in. I ate there, I slept there, I talked to doctors ( most of the time they were extremely busy), took pictures, read books, basically anything I do at home but in the hospital.

I have got to be honest with you guys, I’m sort of excited to get this off my list. I’m also nervous because the real reason I’m doing this is for my therapeutic process by wysa. Either way, I hope you find this useful and instructional.

Fair Warning: long post ahead

Get organized

My first tip is to become organized. Since, I started to have the habit of being organized and very clean I found it much easier to work since everything I needed was in one place. I also had applications to help be organized. For me, being organized means memorizing your whole room and where every single thing is. Which doesn’t necessarily mean that you should keep every thing too tidy. On my first day everything was a “clean mess” I knew where 50% of my things was. It wasn’t too difficult for me to start, when relating to organization.

Blend both the task

When I study, I separate the writing tasks and reading tasks. Since I got home at 4:45pm I start to work at six. When I say blend both tasks, what you want to do is take two tasks and do both of the work. For example, while I do my reading tasks I nebulize at the same time. Another, When I have pudding I mix in the pills or melt them in water. A third one is to place my liquids in my school water bottle, so the whole day I can take my immune boaster ( although my water will taste like bee and will look green, since the name of the medicine is propolis made from bees.) P.S. I also take fish oil pills which has an anti inflammatory property, it is will also give both a brain and heart protection. I got these products from DLC since my father once work there.

You can apply this to yourself by reading at the breakfast table, brushing your teeth while shower, and others.

The technique will help save yourself time. Another term for this strategy is multi tasking and this will help to complete two tasks at a time.

Try not to be overwhelmed

One thing you don’t need to happen, is to think you’re running straight to the bull’s horns. Want you want to think, is that this is a very doable task and you’ll accomplish it. I was overwhelmed once and my body literally cannot handle the pressure. Looking back at it, I started to laugh about it because I was being too Barmy about it. My main tip is to take small steps. Yes, they may be small but at least they’re taking you somewhere.

Try to love it

I know this sounds dumb, but hating what you have will never help you accept it. You’ll never know what you have until you lose it.

It won’t hurt trying to love yourself, it won’t hurt trying to accept yourself. Just think this happened for a reason and for that reason, it had to happen.

When I finally accepted this, I learned to be one with peace. I really didn’t have a choice, either I love and accept the new me or I’ll begin to hate myself and fight myself for no good reason.

Just be grateful that you’re alive and start looking at the best things in life and starting spending time with people who truly love you.

Don’t be afraid to ask help

We all need help sometimes and I think if I didn’t ask, I’d be in a far worst position in life right now. Try to ask someone who you can trust like your best friend, parents, The kind old lady across the street, they should help because they love you.

Asking for help did never mean you’re weak. It means you have courage to speak up.

Disconnect from all the negativity

I really don’t know what’s the most best decent way to say this. I know criticism hurts a lot because you always feel like you’re no good enough no matter how hard you tried and everyone seems to look at all your ugliness no matter how flawless your science project was. But, I got to say I felt far much better without them. I didn’t felt loved but more importantly I did not felt hated. I knew I had to stop wasting my time with all the people who don’t love me and focus on the ones that really do.

Have a positive mindset

I believe that there are two perspective in life, that is the positive and the negative or when referring to the law, the right or wrong. I believe that the truth is nothing but the truth, but the truth can be stirred by opinions.

I have always spoken about having a driven mindset. But, I never spoken about having a positive mindset. Maybe because... I hardly had one. But, today I’m going to change that. I have said that having a driven mindset refers to keep going and I think that having a positive mindset refers to being happy in the process, before the process and after the process.

I think the importance or purpose of having a positive mindset is that it keeps you happy in whatever your doing and that it makes the experience worthwhile.
