Self: Tarot of the Day (Mar-31-2025)

I realized from picking up a reference tarot book, that I haven't used for a quite a long time, since I bought it back in 2022 (Link post of the book I'm talking about). This book actually "A Card a Day" interpretations along side the other interpretations this book provides. This book also imagery insights of meanings (and possibly, information, too). So I'll be looking into this a bit more, from time-to-time, too. I'll share what pops out to me, to show how to use this book, in a way.

This book does not have Reversal meanings, my reasoning of why I really haven't used this book as much as I'd like. A majority of my readings end up with quite a bit of reversals, and they helped me understand a lot more, alongside the upright cards, too, in my opinion. They may seem intimidating, but as an example, seeing the Reversed 3 of Swords is a positive message/insight, just to say, than seeing the 3 of Swords Upright, where it's a naturally a nagetive message/insight. That's one way of my intake of working with reversals.

Reading the book's interpretation of the "A the Card of the day". It looks to be a positive message, but with it being reversed and having no reversal interpretation on this side of the page. I decided to look into imagery for the other page of this book's layout.

The black figure popped out to me first. So I went to look at the other page (Linked Wiki Entries has a photo example of what I mean of this book's layout), of what it may mean to notice that imagery first. I highlighted what popped out to me, and the nagetive meaning from the 2 parts of this black figure imagery.

It's a task to figure out what is worth it, and then what is considered worthless. But, with the next insight of the imagery, ignoring the task and/or having the delusion of not wanting to see the reality of things to do these tasks. Not really staying present either, looking too much back into the past or looking too much into the future, either way, just not staying in the here and now, kind of thing 🤷🏽‍♀

With this next image that popped out to me, since it was reversed I thought it was water spilling out 🤭 I didn't see either a castle or a tower 🥲🤣 :ok_hand: 🏻 So, with it being reversed, its indicating repression, isolation, and out of touch with reality (my thought process mentioned above, wasn't far off as I thought with the reality). Holding myself back on working on these task(s).

The isolation is due to past attempts of trying to reach out to others, and a majority of the time, it was to wrong persons. My wording, it's more of reaching to the wrong kind of help, kind of thing, for the certain topic. So, it is quite difficult to figure out who to reach out to that would be able to help with certain stuff, at the time or during the time of need.

Out of touch with reality, is a pretty straightforward insight. It also intertwines with the "To become the shadow of one's true self" mentioned above with the black figure 2. Bit of a lost individual, which is true for myself. I am lost of what to do, and what to think. Due to ignoring and not really taking the time to do my Shadow Work. I it.

The next image is quite positive. A bit of reassurance that I have what it takes to work through this. More than what's in my head. Just gotta work through this feeling of self-doubt, as well as the shadow selves that appeared due this ignoring and avoidance.

Overall message, still in the shadows, but a bit more awareness of the matter a bit more, too. Just remind myself that things are better than what they may seem, and that I have good abilities to work with and people that I can talk to.

I know I have some stuff to figure out, mostly didn’t figure them out before, was due to still going through it at the time. Other times, it's just talking to different people about different things, cause everyone is helpful one way or another, just not for all things in life, in my perspective.

As for why I'm using my basic Rider Waite Tarot deck is to sort of help a bit more with showing and teaching of the Tarot Books, as a majority are based off of this certain deck (doesnt need to look like mine) cause they're are many versions of how the RWS Tarot deck looks, I'm just using the one that resembles the pictures in the Tarot Guidbooks 🤗
