A cold read is just the first reading of a section of the script??? Ive never heard it as specifically 4 lines tbh
Gotta be honest I've never heard of an Italian run before
That’s not what to strike is
How would you define it. I did my best with the character limit lol

It’s when you clear away pieces of the set after you are done with a rehearsal or performance.
For example: Mrs. Lilith claps her hands. “Great rehearsal! Belle, practice your lines for scene 4 please. Alright everybody, let’s strike the set!” The cast and crew shuffle onstage and start picking or dragging off the pylons, ramps, cubes, and other set pieces.

We use “strike” like you used it— the next week after show we take a day or two and tear down the set, put lights and sound away, and turn in costumes and things.
We also use it after rehearsal like “strike lights strike sound” meaning to collect things we gave out and turn all of our equipment off.
Pretty interesting to see the different ways everyone uses !
