She was my venus, gorgeous and light.
Her hair dark as the night, falling in waves to the ground.
Her eyes were filled with stars, celestial and bright.
She was my eclipse, blocking me from the dark matter of the world.
Protecting me from the orbiting words around us.
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ
My universe, I called her.
My dark angel, floating in this galaxy.
I was a falling star, falling into deep space.
She followed, loyal and happy.
Yet I could feel myself slip out of the milky way.
Her smile was radiant.
Twinkling like dust in the sun.
It used to bring a meteor shower of happiness with it.
Now all it was, was gravity bringing me down.
It weighed on me for months.
The cool sounds of her breath against my ear in the crater of my bed.
Her kind words were a black hole I needed to escape from.
Every touch was a new supernova of pain and regret.
She was my astronaut, exploring each dark crevice of my mind.
I did not want protection from the galaxy.
The phases of the moon were like my love.
Until finally the new moon never left.
I was a cavern of the same universe from yesterday.
She didn't need a telescope to see the pain now.
We were laying on an asteroid ready to burn.
There was a flare of emotions, a new surge of pain.
My bainary star was gone.
My protection from the world disintegrated.
I left her alone in the galaxy.
My universe was gone, I was alone to travel through this nebula.
Coughing up mercury in hopes to find another universe.
Time ed, and the interstellar cloud I was stuck in only grew.
The density of my sadness expanded and contracted outside of me.
I felt empty.
I traveled through this complex cosmos.
Stumbling to and fro, begging for the solstice of emptiness to end.
Then as I was walking along, tripping on yellow dwarfs and pushing aside the background radiation of my thoughts.
I found a quasar, the energy flowing from it.
The cold wavelengths of evolution overtake me.
I revolve around the radiating power.
Watching as the dust particles move and shift before me.
I used to be an umbra of my past self.
And with this newfound power.
I turn around, walking, earthbound and ready to reconnect with my true self.
Going back to watching the night sky, forevermore.
