Hey guys, and welcome back to another Hero analysis. Its Halloween, so you know what that means: Halloween units of course. But not just any Halloween unit: Maidgero s the fight!

This was a dream come true for me: one of my favorite characters dressed as maid, and could make Kagero emblem statistically diverse. But what does she have to offer? Only one way to find out!

Maidgero is the Halloween variant of Kagero, who tries her hardest to show pride and dedication, but finds her part in all of this question. She doesn't particularly like her outfit to be more accurate, but tries to put the "mission" first.

Maidgero is extremely different in of stats. Instead of OG Kagero and Spring Kagero who both prioritize Atk and Spd with some Res, Maidgero sports great HP, Atk, Def and Res, effectively being a tank. However, this is thanks to having a higher BST as an armored unit, and has poor mobility as well. Despite being a tank tho, she doesn't have Vengeful Fighter.

Despite this, Maidgero makes it up by having the Bottled Juice+ (don't worry its 100% non-alcoholic. NOPE. NOT A SINGLE DROP) which essentially has the Guard effect active at all times. This means unless facing someone with Flashing Blade or one of the Fighter skills, NO ONE can muster a special against her. She also has Bold Fighter and Mirror Strike to be a player phase mage tank and nuke. With a Def refine, she won't take much damage player phase and leave the enemy crippled, if not utterly defeated.

There are a few builds you can use to really bring out her abilities.

Anyways, this is the typical build that works wonders on Maidgero. Hand her the refine that compliments her boon (if +Res, get the Def refine and vice versa), get her the most defensive skills imaginable, and Vengeful Fighter, and suddenly she cannot and will not die. Since you want her to get even more buffed to tank even more, handing her the Armor March skill works wonders on her. Most of this build is relatively expensive, because most armored exclusive skills are 5* locked, but you can make due with Distant Defense A slot, Wary Fighter, and Goad Armor.

Player Phase Tank

Want someone to "clean house" and still take the harder hits? This build is just the one for you! She's too slow to boost her Spd naturally, so sticking to Bold Fighter is great for this build. Slap on the Cleaner to make sure buffed enemies won't get away too easily, and use both Mirror Strike and Sturdy Blow to increase both defensive stats and massively bolster her already good Atk for a dagger unit. Just like last time, her C skill is very much interchangeable.

A New Springero Hops Forth!

Wanted a Spring Kagero, but she continues to allude you, and you have a Spring Palla you don't care for? I got you, fam. We gonna make you the best not-Springero to date. Unlike OG Kagero, Maidgero can utilize the main effect of the Pegasus Carrot as she has the green color, meaning and blue units who dare prevent Bold Fighter from taking effect will be sent to an early grave. All non-red armors will also suffer a similar fate thanks to the "effective against armors" ability granted by the same weapon. The rest of the build just sees her optimize her Atk stat beyond recognition. Initiate combat and see everything die.
