"Marinette are you even listening to me?" Alya exclaimed, mentally facepalming herself. "I asked how the Agreste tutoring was going?"

"We've stopped doing it. Things... changed." Marinette ignored her friend's glances, hoping she'd stop talking about it.

"Did something happen between you guys? If he did something I'll beat him up!" She curled one hand into a fist and slammed it against her palm of the other hand.

"No, its nothing like that. There just wasn't a point in carrying it on; he knew all the stuff." Marinette bit her lip. She knew lying was wrong but she didn't want her friend worrying too much. I mean, look what it did to hers and Adrien's friendship.

"Right. Well I guess Mrs Perry will see when she re-tests him." Marinette silently swore to herself. She prayed Adrien had done some revision himself. Maybe that was what he was doing on the bus ride home yesterday?

"Speaking of Adrien, have you seen him? I need to ask him something." Alya perked her eyebrow up. "No, nothing like that! It's school related..." Marinette started rambling on and Alya just stood there laughing. She then raised her hand to stop the bluenette from talking.

"Ok, it's not about your love life. I'd take a guess and say he's probably at his locker." Alya patted her shoulder. "But if it is about your feelings towards him then good luck."

"Alya!" Marinette huffed as Alya walked away. She decided to take Alya's advice and check his locker first. Upon arriving there was no one there. She waited but when the bell was about to go she rushed to her locker to get the books she'd need for the day ahead.

"This is going to be a long day." She entered the combination and opened her locker with an unsatisfactory squeak. She rubbed her ears at the sound of it and picked up the books. As she lifted them, two enveloped flew gracefully to the ground. She swiftly looked around to see if anyone was watching before bending down and collecting them. "What the?" She dropped her bag onto the floor and tore open the first one. Examining the contents she let out a gasp. She let the words sink in as she put her hand over her mouth.

Where do I start? You are an amazing girl with a heart of gold. Ever since I first saw you in class I knew you would be special. And I was right to think this way. I couldn't think of another way to tell you this but I was hoping you'd want to go out with me? I'm sure you'll be able to figure out who this is from. I'll see you around x.-

At the end of it was a drawing of a blue rose. She quickly opened the second one, curious as to what it said.

-Hi,

So I'm not really good at this sort of thing but it's been playing on my mind for a while now. I'd like to start by saying sorry. Sorry for the way I acted yesterday, I shouldn't have pushed you to tell me. I deserved to get shouted at. You deserve your privacy. Anyway, onto the actual point of this. I just wrote this to ask if we could talk. What I have to say is too important just to write down. So yeah, I'll be in the library at lunch. If you don't wanna see me then I deserve it I guess. From your one and only Kitty x    P.S. The bus ride home was boring without you. In fact sorry for ignoring you then, I was actually writing this.-

Marinette's hands started shaking. "Oh my gosh." She stuffed the letters in her bag and rested her head against the locker. "Oh my gosh." She could feel herself getting flustered. "Oh. My. Gosh." She checked the time. Lesson 1 started soon. She had to find Luka at some point. He was getting the wrong message. Adrien on the other hand, what did he want to talk about? And why was there a kiss at the end of the letter? She grinned before shaking her head, it was probably meant in a friendly way.

"Pull yourself together Marinette." She slipped her backpack back on just as the bell rang. She headed into the textiles room; lost in her own thoughts.

It was finally lunch and Marinette was curious as to what Adrien wanted to talk about. As she closed the library door behind her she walked through the bookshelves, stroking her fingers along the thick spines. She grabbed one and flicked through the pages. That was when she felt a hand grasp her shoulder. She slammed the book closed and turned around to see Adrien standing in front of her.

"Hey Bugaboo." Marinette rolled her eyes at the nickname.

"Stop calling me Bugaboo!" She shouted under breath, they were in a library after all.

"Why should I, it's a cute nickname. Anyway did you get my letter?" Marinette nodded as Adrien ran his fingers through his hair. "Ok, well I wanted to ask you if you wanted to hang out some time? I enjoyed the last time we were together so just wanted to know of you'd be up for doing it again?"

"Yeah, sure." Marinette smiled as Adrien let out a sigh of relief.

"I though you would say no after yesterday. That's a huge weight off my shoulders."

"Don't worry about yesterday. I overreacted too much. I should be the one saying sorry." She let out a small giggle as Adrien tucked his hands into his blazer pockets.

"So, is Sunday ok? We could just go to that same park, I'll be at your house at half 1?"

"Yeah, half 1 is ok."

"Great, it's a date, I'll see you then." Adrien squeezed past her and walked away. Marinette was about to say bye but 3 words were buzzing around her head.

"It's a date." Marinette went to ask him if he really meant it or not but he was already gone. Was she actually going on a date with Adrien Agreste?
