•Dont Starve Crossover•

Hello Hello! Today, I bring you all an artwork crossover from one of my favorite games, Don't Starve. This game has been a huge part of my life, just like Zelda has. So I had the idea of combining the two together! Let's get right into it. :)

Inspiration

Note: The style of this drawing is meant to match the one of the game. Sketch-like, messy, and darker colors.

This artwork was inspired by one of the main mechanics of Don't Starve. The night. As darkness settles around you, light is your number one concern. Without it, the darkness and its shadow monsters will devour you. But with it, you can freely walk around and keep away those creatures.

Link

In this drawing, Link is the main character, making his way through the night with a torch. The radiance coming from it, creates a safe path for him to walk. Unfortunately, Link does not see what is creeping up behind him.

Dark Link

In this drawing, Dark Link is lurking in the shadows behind Link. I imagine him working with what are called, Shadow Hands. In the game, you have a sanity bar. If this bar depletes to a low amount, Shadow Hands will appear at night. They reach out from the darkness and sneak along the ground, attempting to take out your light sources. Hence, what is the shape around Dark Link. Its the darkness forming into one of those hands.
