It is an American supernatural horror movie directed by Philippe Mora and is a direct sequel to the first movie.
I'm going to review all of the Howling movies.
Plot:
Three people journey into Transylvania to stop a werewolf queen.
While the movie isn't good, it does feel like a cheesy movie. The story is simple with the goal to stop the werewolf queen from taking over the world. Now the movie feels muddy on how it handled itself on how many things are going on, and the movie adds things to it. Like how the queen has these supernatural powers that come out of nowhere and how her queen is like this BDSM thing. I found the movie to be poorly paced on how things happened pretty quickly, and there's a lack of tension to be found in it. There's a couple of moments that are pretty cheesy on how they execute it, and it is fun to see it. The climax itself is the strangest that I see on the powers the queen has, but it ends up being an anticlimactic ending to it.
The characters themselves aren't that interesting, with one exception.
Ben White and Jenny are the main characters who Stefan in order to defeat the queen. Both of them are pretty bland with little development they have. Ben is the brother of Karen from the first movie, but the movie doesn't bother on showing his relationship with his sister.
Stefan is probably the best part due to the performance by Christopher Lee, who does a great job with portraying the character on how smart and interesting he is throughout.
The villains don't appear that much in the movie and are pretty bland.
The weirdest part is how the special effects are handled in the movie. The werewolf makeup is all over the place on how some of it looks decent, while some of it doesn't even look like werewolves. Also, there's time that it looks like they put people into furry suits, and it barely look like a werewolf. The movie contains pretty decent practical gore effects and a couple of deaths of pretty brutal. The movie contains a couple of visual effects that look alright for the most part.
Howling 2: Your Sister is a Werewolf isn't a good sequel, but fall into the category of so bad it's good type of movies.

Great write-up. This one definitely leaves a lot to be desired coming in on the heels of the original, which I think is one of the better werewolf movies out there (there really is a distinct lacking of werewolf flicks in comparison to pretty much everything else major subgenre-wise).
By far my favorite entry in the series. As a franchise, The Howling has always been way overrated and all of the films are pretty cheesy imo- The second one is the only film that seemed to fully understand that and own it, making it the most enjoyable to watch.
