So... I need advice.

So, I'm the agent leader of a small Amino (in case you're new here) and there is this one member who is making chats and great posts that are actually boosting activity, but here's the weird thing: I feel like she's trying to take over. Don't get me wrong, I love that she's trying to help us boost activity, but I feel like she's doing things I should be doing. Hell, I have 3 drafts saved of posts alone, not including my weekly posts. What should I do?

I hope this all makes sense and doesn't make me sound insane.

Well, as Icy said, "official" events, create and push basic helpful posts. Just be a good leader. Help the with any issues and questions they may have. There are certain things that a normal member can't do, but you as a leader can.

However, if she is so helpful, why don't you think about adding her to your staff team? You could work together to make the Amino a more active place. As a leader it's not just your responsibility to lead, but also, most of all, to do the best for the community. If you feel like she would be a great help - why not accept it? Maybe she does have a staff position in mind, but that doesn't necessarily mean she has plans take over entirely. It's possible she really just wants to help.

Okay, so the option I came up with can sound a little pushy, but it will help you seem like the true leader of the amino.

You can make challenges/events/contests with the word "Official" in them. You can offer things as prizes such as features or titles, since normal can't offer those.

Another thing you can do is make posts to be pinned or refeatured often that are helpful to , like a help desk, tutorials, or something else.

But I think you shouldn't be too worried about them taking over. It's normal to feel protective over your amino, and at the moment the might see that member as the perfect leader, but when problems arise you are the only one who can actually fix them.

If start pushing you to make them leader or even agent, you are 100% allowed to refuse. It's your amino, after all.

Finally, I would suggest trying to become friends with them. If you become good friends they wouldn't try to take over your spot because you are their friend.

I hope this helps
