anyways, i edited the second image and the first one just happened to come out as literal photography gold!

supplies used

- washi tape + stickers from different sellers (mainly from amazon)

- printed out photos + polaroid of me from a friend (optional)

- tombow dual brush pen in a bright leafy green (i can't see the number of the specific shade on the pen as it's rubbed off)

- pentel fude touch brush pen in black

- pentel energel (ULTIMATE PEN) 0.7 conical tip in black

- a random thick fineliner

- mildliner in brown

i hope yall like it <3

onto the flip thru :)

since i can only add in a 15 second video, i hope this clip does justice!

supplies used

- zebra mildliner/kokuyo beetletip for header + highlighting

- a staedtler fineliner in the corresponding colour for colour coding (disclaimer: i only use the fineliners if i'm working from home, i don't like taking them to school.)

- pentel energel 0.7 conical tip in black

how i take notes

- at the beginning of class i write the title, since the title of the lesson is usually already written on the board for when we enter the class. i either write it with a mildliner, a brush pen, or just whatever i'm feeling.

- for any headings i either highlight (not instantly, so the pen can dry + so i don't waste time) or underline them.

- i use dashes for my main point, an arrow to write down a point linking to that point, and a bullet point for writing a point linking to the additional point. it's kinda hard to explain, but you can see it in the notes themselves.

- i don't rewrite my notes, because, unless it's purely for revision, it's a waste of time. the only time i do rewrite my notes is probably my first page at the start of the year, of only like a couple of classes i don't like how the first pages look, but besides that, rewriting notes just is too time consuming as the year progresses, as we get more assignments.

- linking to that point, i try not to overly decorate my notes and spend too much time writing them, so even if i am rewriting any notes, i can write them moderately fast since i can refer to this barebones method which doesn't involve any decorative elements.

- i've used this method for like,, a year and a half - 2 years??? which just shocks me with how much i've grown since then.

anyways, that's all from me!! until we next journal/study!!

thank you so much for reading this <3
