My wife and daughter took a quick trip to the next town over. They did some thrift store shopping and got some takeout food. They had a nice time, the sort of thing that they should do more often.
None of the food was for me. This is really my fault. I have told my wife repeatedly I don't want whatever vegan items she buys because it's junk food 99% of the time. If I agree just a little, she will buy it regularly and it goes in the trash. Nobody is happy.
Today I really could have enjoyed some takeout. I was starving. They didn't bring anything for me. Again, my fault.
In some desperation, I threw frozen vegetables, leftover millet and a can of beans in a pan. I added some Italian seasoning, garlic powder and chipotle powder.
Great? No. Better than starving? Yes! The leftovers will be more than adequate.
